It all started when…
I found myself in the middle of the perfect storm- a mama to 9 children facing housing insecurity, mounting legal fees from a tumultuous divorce, and searching for a safe and effective solution for my little girl’s eczema. There seemed to be a tide of rising problems when what I needed were solutions.
After hearing about the benefits of tallow lotion, I dug deeper and learned that it was naturally anti-inflammatory and could help with skin regeneration by supporting healthy cell turnover because of its nutrient density. When I couldn’t find any locally, I made my own. My little girl’s eczema patches cleared up within a week! So, I made another batch and started gifting it to friends and family- it was a hit. Maybe this little jar of magic could be the solution I’d been looking for.
Intentionally noticing glittering slivers of hope during a difficult season of life is how I’ve always been wired. It’s how I’m modeling the difference between surviving hardships and thriving through hardships for my kids. Daring to have the audacity to refuse to let circumstances chip away at who we are- our innate goodness- is the kind of rebellion I hope they are always engaged in!
We all have a story of a time in our lives when having an attitude of Tenacious Good helped us soar.
